Long Stays at Bonté Maison Private Dordogne living for 4 weeks or more, October to April

Bonté Maison opens for longer stays during the quieter months — October through to April — when the Dordogne settles into a slower, more private rhythm.  

If you're looking for space, calm and a genuine sense of being somewhere rather than just passing through, this is a different kind of stay. Not a holiday rental feeling, but a proper home for however long you need it. We've hosted long stay guests every year since 2018.  

The house sits among vineyards with wide countryside views reaching out across south-west France. Five bedrooms, generous living areas, a large kitchen, fast internet, home desk and workspace, two hot tubs and plenty of outdoor space — everything you need to arrive, unpack and actually settle in. The pool isn't heated through winter, but the gardens, terraces and views more than hold their own throughout the year.

Days here tend to find their own shape. Mornings start slowly with coffee overlooking the vines. From there, it's local villages, markets, vineyards and restaurants at whatever pace suits you. Evenings draw you back to the hot tub with a glass of wine.

Available October to April, with a minimum stay of four weeks. Longer stays are welcome.
