Getting Here

Flying:

The cheapest way is probably Easyjet from Gatwick to Bordeaux, we've seen flights as low as £17.18p each way, and that was decent middle of the day flight times in September. Bordeaux is just over an hour away.

Ryanair serve Bergerac from Stansted.

BA fly from Gatwick and London City to Bergerac, Bordeaux and Toulouse.

Jet2 fly to Bergerac from Manchester and Leeds.

There are several car hire companies at Bergerac and Bordeaux airport, one of the most popular is http://www.buggscarhire.com/

Driving:

The drive can be done in a day from Calais, Boulogne or the other ports. It normally takes about 8 hours from Calais which includes regular stops.

When using the channel tunnel or ferry we aim to arrive in Calais for about 10am local time which normally gets us to the property about 6pm, in time for dinner and sunset by the pool with a glass of wine.

The Portsmouth to Caen ferry is becoming a popular option now it is all motorway from Caen to Bergerac (about 7hrs drive)

We will send you detailed driving instructions as part of your joining pack including the satnav details.
