Typical travel times:

  • Around 8 hours from Calais (with stops)
  • Portsmouth → Caen ferry → approximately 7 hour drive to the house

Many guests choose to break the journey with an overnight stop, turning the drive into part of the holiday.

We usually aim to arrive in Calais around 10am, which gets us to the house around 6pm — perfect timing for a relaxed evening, sunset views and a glass of wine by the pool.

Full directions and sat nav details are provided before arrival, making the final part of the journey simple and stress-free.
